Canada. Dept. of Communications. Office of the Senior Assistant Deputy Minister : The Office of the Senior Assistant Deputy Minister (SADM) was responsible for operations conducted in five branches and two services in the Department of Communications. The Broadcasting and Content Services Policy Branch, the Strategy and Plans Branch, the National Telecommunications Branch all formulate and recommend telecommunications and broadcasting policies and related social policies. The Federal-Provincial Relations Branch interacted with the provincial authorities in matters of telecommunications. The International Relations assumed responsibility for Canada's participation in international telecommunications organizations; Legal Services and the Information Services also report through the SADM.
