Sub-series consists of files on boundary disputes, trade and commercial matters, defence questions, numerous files relating to the conduct of the Second World War, communications, shipping, post Second World War international organizations, Lend-Lease and the Mutual Aid Plan, natural resources, the Pan American Union and war loans. Correspondence with such bodies as the United Nations, International Joint Commission, Pan American Union, Organization of European Economic Cooperation, International Boundary Commission and the International Wheat Council are included in these records. This series of records is organized in a numeric filing system numbered from 16 to 852 and covers a variety of subjects in which the Canadian Embassy in Washington was involved from 1925 to 1950.
