Canadian International Development Agency. World Food Programme : The World Food Programme was responsible for arranging for contracts for purchase and delivery of various food substances and small machinery and equipment required to fill Canadian International Development Agency projects or programmes operating in a specific country. During the 1986-87 fiscal year Canadian Developmental Assistance administered through CIDA sponsored programmes included the World Food Programme through which multilateral food aid, valued at 66.4 million, was distributed among 360 projects in 120 countries.
