This series contains the personal photographic collection of Yousuf Karsh, displaying the public events of the photographer in his public persona, although there are a few more personal items as well. The collection includes many portraits of Karsh by students at seminars, as well as some by other professional photographers. Also included are a few family photographs, images of Little Wings (Karsh's house south of Ottawa), and Yousuf Karsh as he works, as well as interior shots of the Sparks Street and Chateau Laurier studios. Some film work and North African assignment work is also included.
