DHJ Canadian Ltd : DHJ Canadian Limited was established in 1969 as a joint venture between Dubin-Huskell-Jacobson (Canada) Limited, and its parent companies, DHJ Industries and Pinatel Piece & Dye Works Limited. Based in Montreal, DHJ Canadian Ltd. specialized in marketing interlining fabrics to the garment industry. Dominion Textile acquired 50% of DHJ Canadian stock in 1971, and subsequently appointed T.R. Bell as the company's new president. DHJ Canadian became a wholly owned subsidiary of Dominion Textile in 1975-1976, when DomTex acquired DHJ Industries (and its subsidiary companies).

The name of the company changed to DHJ-Facemate Canada Incorporated in 1979, when DHJ Canadian merged with Facemate Corp of Chicopee, Massachusetts. The merger was intended to consolidate the production of interlining fabrics in North America, but Dominion Textile sold DHJ-Facemate in 1980. DHJ Canada was created from the remaining assets in 1981.

DHJ Canada Inc. merged with its former parent company Dubin-Huskell-Jacobson (Canada) Ltd. in 1982, but retained the DHJ Canada name. DHJ Canada Inc. ceased operations in 1993, when the company was amalgamated into Dominion Textile.
