Further material is available in accession 95-0916 WFRC. This material consists of Appropriation Record Ledger Books, 1903 -1915.

These ledger books contain budgetary accounting information concerning the appropriation of funds by the Canadian Northern Railway Co. for specified railway capital expenditures. The appropriation entry for each capital expenditure in a particular year is identified, numbered, the amount budgeted or the capital expenditure is indicated in the top left margin, and then an itemized list of actual costs are given. In some cases the labor and material costs are totalled, and the sum is either listed as an over -expenditure or under -expenditure based on the original appropriation.

RG30M 923039: Both items were copied, because the prints were so damaged. Originals were disposed.

RG30M 923039 was transferred from Canadian National headquarters in Montreal and delivered by the CN archivist. It is unknown what CN offices created and had custody of these records.

No further accruals are expected.
