Photos by J. Esson, J.W. Folders 26-41: Ernest Thompson Seton's family and friends: formal and informal portraits from ca. 1880s, including Seton's wife and children, Grace GallatierJohn Burroughs, Lord Baden-Powell, Daniel Carter Beard, Julie Seton, Governor of Santo Domingo Pueblo and three unidentified tintypes of Seton and others dressed in western and Indian replica costume (folder 35).
Folders 42-47: unidentified formal and informal portraits, including non-native individuals in native dress.
Folders 48-57: Buildings and places related to the career and private life of Ernest Thompson Seton, including residences, Seton "Castle", Seton Library in Seton Village, New Mexico.
Folders 58-70: Woodcrafters League of America, an organization founded by Ernest Thompson Seton to promote the appreciation and appropriation of North American Indian traditional culture, including views of Seton in his capacity as leader and lecturer, principal actor in plays depicting Indian culture, posed with various Woodcrafter groups throughout North America, children at campsites, group meetings, Woodcrafters dressed in fringe garb, loincloths, feathered headdresses and wigs in outdoor settings posed in fictitious vignettes of Indian lore, Campfire Club, teepees, plays performed by Woodcrafters, enactment of ritual dances, Adirondack Mountain Club.
Folders 71-101: Photos of animals in their natural habitats, including the following varmints, squirrel, raccoon, lynx, deer, toad, hawks, bear, waterbuffalo, h wolf, hare, cougar; dog training for US Army; horse and donkey training.
Folders 102-104: Landscape views, including the following locations, Gibraltar, Artillely Lake, Eickart River, McLeod Bay, Sussex Lake, Great Slave Lake, waterfalls, houses, flowers.
