This subseries is comprised of archival prints created by Yousuf Karsh in the early 1990s. Most of the prints were created as part of a project to augment the print holdings of the National Archives, where it was felt that items were not available. This included Canadian subjects, as well as photographs which Karsh felt were artistically important. Karsh used negatives already held by the National Archives in the 1987 acquisition.
