It presented films and lectures on Estonain life and culture, sponsored Montreal's Estonian Boy Scouts' and Girl Guides' movements, as well as lent its support to the Estonian Children's Summer Camp "Joekaaru" and to the Senior Citizen's Home "Insula". Theatrical presentations were arranged by the Association, and its small lending library made available Estonian-language literature to the reading public. Due to declining membership caused by aging and the movement of Estonians from Montreal to other urban centres across Canada, the Association ceased its activities in 1985.Additional information:General note:The fonds was received in 1985 from the Estonian Women's Association of Montreal through the courtesy of L.
