Château Laurier : The Canadian National Railway system has owned hotels across Canada. They include The Charlottetown (no longer owned), Charlottetown, P.E.I.; Hotel Newfoundland, St. John's, Newfoundland; The Nova Scotian, Halifax, N.S.; The Queen Elizabeth, Montreal, Quebec; Chateau Laurier, Ottawa, Ontario; The Prince Arthur, (no longer owned) Thunder Bay, Ontario; The Fort Garry, Winnipeg, Manitoba; The Prince Edward (no longer owned) Brandon, Manitoba; The Bessborough, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; The Macdonald, Edmonton, Alberta; Hotel Vancouver , Vancouver, B.C.; Minaki Lodge (no longer owned) Ontario; Pictou Lodge, (no longer owned) N.S.; and Jasper Park Lodge, Jasper, Alberta.

Canadian National Hotels, Limited was incorporated under Dominion Letters Patent of 15 October 1954 to acquire and operate the various hotels within the system. Ownership of all except The Queen Elizabeth, which is owned by the Canadian National Railway Company, now rests with the hotel company. In 1988, CN Hotels (P.C. 0231) was sold.
