This series consists of correspondence [Green], reference [Blue] and NDP position [Red] files.

This series comprises the following types of files: Dawn Black biographies; briefs to the House Legislative Committee on Child Care; Bill C-126 (child pornography); House of Commons Correspondence, filed nominally, "A" to "B", with a portion of "M" (see Series VIII below); breast cancer; NDP files (the BC Caucus, Social Policy Committee, Whip's reports to Caucus, Planning and Priorities Committee, as well as files on elections, candidate's packages, and winning a nomination in a riding); Householder (Black's reports to her constituents); correspondence with international parliamentary organizations; staff files; abortion and sexual harassment (in this series because of original order); and "Women's Report".
This last, the "Women's Report", was a special / dedicated issue newsletter which Black put out of her Hill office, in addition to her "Householder". The correspondence on the publication suggests that it received a far broader distribution than just her constituency alone.
