Fonds consists of oral history interviews conducted from March to May, 1976, by graduate student, Laurence Wall, with World War II military personnel and war correspondents about press coverage of the war. Among those interviewed are Chief Briefing Officer Brigadier H.E.T. Doucet and war correspondents Charles Lynch, Ross Munro and A.E. Powley and M.P. Marcel Lambert and others. Fonds also contains a sound documentary examining the press coverage of the Dieppe Raid and includes excerpts from the above interviews and excerpts from CBC news reports and programs from 1942. This documentary was produced by Laurence Wall as his graduate thesis.
