Collection consists of two oral history interviews conducted in 1970 by twelve-year-old Jeremy Webber of his grandfathers, Adolphus Browne, a coporal with the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry, and Harry G. Webber a dispatch rider with the 4th and 5th Field Ambulance Corps, both of whom talk about World War I warfare, communications lines and life in the trenches. These interviews were recorded for a school project.

Webber, Bernard, 1914-2000 : Bernard George Webber was born August 6, 1914 at Winnipeg, Manitoba and died December 5, 2000 at Victoria, British Columbia. At various times Webber was employed as: a school principal, a District Superintendent of Schools in locations throughout British Columbia, an Assistant Superintendent of Public Instruction for the British Columbia Ministry of Education, and finally as Superintendent of Special Education in the Ministry. He was also a Co-operative Commonwealth Federation (CCF) Member of the Legislative Assembly for the riding of Similkameen in British Columbia from 1941-1945. He was president of the Okanagan Historical Society, 1989-1991, and the Oliver Heritage Society, in 1988 and 1989. Webber was also the author of the book Silk roads.
