2 photographs : 1 b&w and 1 col.Language of material:EnglishScope and content:Series consists of twelve volumes of correspondence and memoranda, arranged alphabetically by file title, and then one volume of subject files; the series includes clippings, notes, speeches, invitations, agendas, itineraries, pamphlets, and brochures documenting, among other issues, appointments, constituency letters, the Etobicoke Liberal Party organization, the National Liberal Party, and travel and tours. The subjects of this series overlap with the constituency series, but the two series were separate in Gillespie's office, and so that separation is retained here. An example of that overlap is the block of regular riding reports to the PMO on election preparedness, issues in ridings, riding association finances, and public attitudes (vols. 352 - 354). Another block in the series is correspondence and memoranda (vols. 351 - 352) between Gillespie and Derek Brown, a special assistant from 1973 to 1979, who was responsible for constituency matters, the Etobicoke Liberal Association, and election readiness.
