Canada. Dept. of Communications. Office of the Senior Assistant Deputy Minister : The Senior Assistant Deputy Minister of the Department of Communications was responsible for core functional areas of the department. These responsibilities included the National Telecommunications Branch, the Federal-Provincial Relations Branch, the Social Policy and Programs Branch, the International Telecommunications Branch, and the Telecommunications Economic Branch. The SADM also oversaw regional operations. From 1970 to 1976 this position was filled by De Montigny Marchand. RG97, Volume 203, Minister's Briefing Book.
