The series consists of portraits of notable members of the Media Club of Canada (and its predecessor the Canadian Women's Press Club); photo albums of the Ottawa and Hamilton clubs; photographs documenting the club's activities, including triennial and annual conferences, tours, and social events; and a small amount of material from exhibits and internal publications.

The photographers represented in this series include Derek Case; Robert C. Ragsdale; The McDermid Studio, Edmonton; Joe Stone, Fredericton; Wamboldt-Waterfield, Halifax; John Evans and Mobile Graphics, Ottawa; Gilbert Milne; Canadian Press; Brewer Studio; Dominion-Wide; E. Mackintosh of Toronto; and Newton, among others.

Arrangement note:

The 777 photographs added in the 2004 accession are stored in R2800, permanent volumes 66 to 68. The 445 photographs acquired in the 1976 and 1985 accessions are still stored in the original accession volumes.
