8 microfilm reels.Language of material:EnglishScope and content:Correspondence Series D consists of letters and papers received by the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel from missions within what is now Canada, arranged by diocese and bound. The early volumes contain the papers of several years bound together, but from 1877 they are bound annually. The volumes from 1859 usually include indexes. The National Archives holds selections consisting of letters received, 1850-1886, from British North America (reels A-28 to A-29, A-215 to A-220, and boxes 3-17, which are also available on reels H-1995 to H-2007).
