Ammon, Jack : Jack Bowdery, whose stage name was Jack Ammon, had a long acting career, from 1918 to 1990, during which he appeared on stage, over radio, in film and on television. His most notable radio role was on the series Millie and Lizzie, one of Canada's first radio situation comedies. His mother, Alicia Ammon, had a similarly long and diverse acting career, some of it in collaboration with her son.
