The collection was assembled by Jerome Houses's grandfather who organized a ciné club in the vicinity of Corner Brook, Newfoundland and acted as his own projectionist.

Location of originals note:

Originals transferred to the Library of Congress on April 18, 1983 except for the original of the film [Aguathuna Scenes].
