Fonds consists of Canadian Broadcasting sound recordings on the subject of life in the north, especially Eskimo cooperatives, education and health care. Also included is film footage from newsreels featuring Canadian and American scenes with glaciers, winter carnivals and Indians. Art material consists of a poster advertising the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies 1990 exhibition "The Face of Banff".

Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies : The Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies, Banff, Alberta. The mission statement of the museum is "To assist in educational, cultural and aesthetic pursuits connected with the Canadian Rockies through the collection, preservation, study, exhibition and interpretation of cultural resources from the Canadian Rockies; to examine the relationship between culture and mountains through the exhibition, study and interpretation of materials from mountains around the world."
