The fonds consists of the statute of the Byelorussian Canadian Association, membership applications and cards, correspondence, minutes of meetings, cultural events and activities, notes, bulletins and newsletters, newsclippings, publications, photographs and related material. Also included are files on other Byelorussian organizations, Churches, periodicals and related associations in Canada and the United States.

Byelorussian National Association in Canada : The Byelorussian National Association in Canada (BNAC) was established on June 21, 1952 as a result of political differences in the Byelorussian Canadian Alliance concerning the question of support for the Byelorussian Government in Exile. The BNAC supported an independent position and advocated active participation in Canadian life.The BNAC's goals and objectives were generally similar to the Byelorussian Canadian Alliance except on the question of support for the Government in Exile. In 1953, the BNAC together with the St. Euphrosinia of Polatsk Parish bought a house in Toronto to serve as a parish church for the Byelorussian Greek Orthodox Church and also as a community center and as BANC headquarters. The first liturgy was celebrated on June 28, 1953. A reading room including a library and a Saturday school for Byelorussian children were established in 1953. Social events including dances were held in the church hall. The BNAC also provided social services for those seeking employment or housing and financial support was provided for those in need. This support extended to Byelorussians in Canada and also in Europe. Assistance was provided to Byelorussian students in Belgium and Spain. The BNAC formed the Byelorussian Insurance Society 'Pahonia' in Toronto on January 24, 1954. The BNAC dance group performed at various community events including the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto in 1955. The BNAC became a member of the International Institute of Toronto on October 4, 1956. In 1963 the BNAC became a members of the Community Folk Art Council in Toronto.

An annual calendar of community events was established and the anniversary of Byelorussian Independence Day was the most important anniversary. In cooperation with the Byelorussian Orthodox Parish, a new building was purchased in Toronto in July, 1957. The BNAC also took part in the activities coordinated by the Byelorussian Canadian Co-ordinating Committee. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the BNAC has attracted members from the most recent wave of immigration from Belorus.
