Collection consists of short films depicting activities of a New Brunswick sardine factory including cooking, packing, sealing, steaming and boxing sardines, 1910-1919; short films including Miramichi River salmon fishing, Weir fishing at Grand Manan, and a film producers convention in Saint-John, 1917-1940. Also included are two short fiction films entitled La vie et la passion de notre seigneur Jésus-Christ (ca. 1902-1905); and Blind Bartinaeus (ca. 1920-1929); and three short documentaries on Canada's Atlantic provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland, including scenes of the ocean and coastline with a focus on the regions main industries including fisheries, logging, pulp and paper, mining and agriculture, 1931-1958. Collection also includes short sequences on artisans in New Brunswick and Québec, and Viscount R.B. Bennett's, City of Westminster Mayor, appeal for Merchant Navy Comforts, 1942-1964; the unveiling to the Artillery Memorial in in Majors Hill Park, Ottawa, 1959; programs from the CBC television series Maggie Muggins, 1960-1969; and training and promotional films from the Fraser Company Limited lumber operations, 1960s-1970s. Also included is a collection of films entitled Musée Automobile.

Provincial Archives of New Brunswick : The Provincial Archives of New Brunswick was established in 1967 with a mandate to "collect and preserve the documents of the people, institutions and government of the province." The majority of holdings represent the period from 1784, when New Brunswick was made a separate province of British North America. Also included are materials relating to the earlier exploration, Acadian and pre-Loyalist periods. The Provincial Archives of New Brunswick is located in Fredericton, N.B.
