The fonds consists of episodes of various television programs produced by the Inuit Broadcasting Corporation in Northern Canada. These programs, some of which were produced with the participation of Telefilm Canada, include the following titles: Amittuqmiut, Igloomiut, Kippinguijautiit, Kiviu's Journey, Kikkik E1-472, Inuit Mittakin/That's Funny II, Nunattinni, Qaggiq, Qaujisaut, Qimaivvik, Takuginai, Takuyaksat, Tohaknaak, Unnukkut, and Inuktitut, English and French versions of Uqausiit Sanngijut / Nunavut Elders Series / Les Aînés du Nunavut.

Inuit Broadcasting Corporation : The Inuit Broadcasting Corporation (IBC) was established in 1981. It was originally licensed as a Northern television service by the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC), Canada's regulatory agency, with the mandate to produce and transmit television programs in the Inuktitut language, as well as to reflect and provide information on contemporary and traditional Inuit life. IBC is now part of Television Northern Canada (TVNC), a pan-Arctic satellite service that distributes 100 hours of programming to 94 Northern communities. TVNC is owned and programmed by 13 Indigenous broadcast groups, plus government and education organizations located in the North including IBC.
