Collection consists of a sound recording documenting a talk by J.A. Mugridge, leader of the New Brunswick CCF Party, recorded by CKCW, Moncton, 1944.

Also included in collection are 2 Saint John Champlain Tercentanary Medals, 1904.

Included in original collection was a photograph of the Celtic Cross, Partridge Island, Saint John, New Brunswick. This photo was de-accessioned to the New Brunswick Museum between July and August 2000.

New Brunswick Museum : The New Brunswick Museum (NBM) was founded in 1842 as a private museum, making it the oldest continuing museum in Canada. In 1929 it was incorporated as a Provincial Museum, and in 1930 was renamed the New Brunswick Museum. Located in Saint John, New Brunswick, the Museum houses a varied collection relating to industry, marine history, paleontology, marine mammals, decorative arts, and fine arts displays. General note:

Material was received between 1961 and 1983 from the New Brunswick Museum, Saint John, New Brunswick.
Photographic material was loaned to the National Archives of Canada by the NBM in 1970. The material was copied and original material was returned to lender. Between July and August 2000 all photographic material was de-accessioned and returned to the NBM.

Location of originals note:

Originals of photographs copied and accessioned as 1970-233 (NPC) are located at the New Brunswick Museum (NBM). Copies made from originals by the National Archives of Canada were returned to the NBM between July and August 2000.
