Also included in fonds are moving images documenting sequences on World War II, a Canadian army parachute packing unit, 1940s, and film of the C.S.C. (Canadian Society of Cinematographers) Christmas party, 1974.Provenance :Nom(s) additionnel(s) :Biographie/Histoire administrative :Quick, Norman, d. 2013 : Norman Charles Quick (fl. 1925-1974), was a photographer and motion picture cameraman. He served in the Second World War, working as a cameraman for the army. Thereafter, he worked as cameraman for the National Film Board of Canada. Norman's two brothers, Charlie Quick Jr. and Fred, also worked as cameraman, Charlie Jr. for the Canadian Army Film and Photo Unit and Canadian Movietone News, and Fred for the Royal Canadian Navy. Their father, Charlie Sr., was a veteran lensman. As of 1974 Norman was retired and living in Ottawa, Ontario.
