Sub-series consists of general operational records of the Medical Services Branch central registry. The first part of the operational records (block 850) is composed of files relating to MSB activities as a whole, particularly their cooperation and liaison with other government departments, universities and provincial governments. These rather general files cover a wide variety of subjects such as: negotiations with Transport Canada to place medical officers on board weather ships; discussions relating to the Immigration Medical overseas posts; and provincial involvement with NHW to provide health care services to natives.
