Fonds consists of graphic material, architectural, technical drawings, maps and scrapbooks, of various projects by George F. Eber, Architect.

Fonds also consists of moving images including amateur film footage of the Expo '67 site in Montreal, Quebec; a building under construction; and footage of the McGill Weather tower in Montreal.

Eber, George F., 1923-1995 : The architectural firm, George F. Eber, was established in 1961 in Montreal, Quebec by architect George F. Eber. Over the years its activities expanded to include, in addition to architectural work, interior planning, industrial design and product design, building systems, planning, environmental planning, and leisure designs. In 1970 a second office was opened in Sydney Australia, follwed by a third in London, England in 1972, and a fourth in the Middle East in 1975. Eber has won several awards for his architectural work including a Special Mention, Massey Awards in Architecture 1961; 1968 Reynolds Memorial Award for developing an almunium space frame for the Netherlands Pavilion at Expo '67; Special Award for Excellence as associate to R. Buckminster Fuller and Cambridge Seven Associates, U.S. Pavilion, Expo '67; Diploma di collaborazionne, Canadian Government Exhibit, Quattordicesima Triennale de Milano 1968; and was also named a Member of the Most Valuable Order of the Hospital of St. John Jerusalem. He is also a member of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada, Order of Architects of Quebec, Ontario Association of Architects, Association of Canadian Industrial Designers, and the Association of Quebec Industrial Designers.
