Fonds consists of: thirty-seven salon prints by Leonard Davis; 1 salon print by Andrew McDougall entitled "The Lonely Atlantic"; 1 untitled salon print by C.W. Hunter; 1 roll of 46 exposures of 35mm Dufaycolor transparencies; 103 salon prints by Leonard Davis, mounted, b&w, many with salon stickers. Also included are photographic depictions by Leonard Davis of: scenery, towns, railway stations, churches in the Gatineau District, Québec; buildings, streets, Parliament Buildings, Experimental Farm and other Ottawa, Ontario locales; Canadian Pacific Railway Station at Guelph Junction, Ontario. Medallic items consists of one Monaco First International Salon of Photographic Art medal; one Madrid 12th International Photography Salon medal; and one Leicester and Leicestershire Photographic Society medal.

Davis, Leonard, 1906- : Leonard Davis, photographer, 1906- . Born Hamilton, Ontario. Flourished Hamilton, Ontario, 1906-1960; Dwight, Ont., 1960-. First president of revived Hamilton Camera Club (1932). Associate of Royal Photographic Society (1937), and Honorary Life Member (1980). Member, Huntsville Camera Club from 1960. Active in Muskoka Guild and National Association for Photographic Art.

Works located in: National Archives of Canada.

Exhibition(s): 1930-1949 C, various exhibitions in Canada, U.S.A., France, Spain, and Monaco (group). 1983, Private Realms of Light, PAC, Ottawa, Ont.
