Williams, Frank C : Frank Christopher Williams was born at Vancouver, B.C., in 1917. He began his broadcasting career in 1943 at Radio Stations CJOR and CBR in Vancouver, following service with the Royal Canadian Air Force. Williams worked as a television and film producer-director with the Canadian Brodcasting Corporation for 33 years, winning awards for his documentary films on Canadian military history. From 1953 to 1975, he also directed and produced films on the Briar national curling competitions in Canada. Williams was a member of the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA), the Writers Guild of Canada, and the Toronto Press Club, as well as the Air Force Association of Canada and the Aircrew Association Metro Toronto Branch.
