This album, comprised of 45 pages on which 44 photographs are mounted, describes areas in Yukon Territory, as well as British Columbia and Alaska. More specifically, there are photographs of the development of Whitehorse, Yukon and the W.P. and Y.R.R. train tracks. Photos produced by the National Film Board. Photographs date from the ca. 1950s.

The following are places found in the album: Kluksku Native village; Whitehorse Rapids; Lewes River; Tagish Lake; Lake Bennett, British Columbia; Emerald (Rainbow) Lake; Kathleen Lake; Tunnel Mountain; Sawtooth Mountains; Miles Canyon; Kluane Lake; Thirty Mile River; Burwash Landing; Haines Junction, Yukon; village of Champagne; Whitehorse; Alaska Highway; Carcross, Yukon.
