Biography/Administrative history:

Homburger, Walter, 1924- : Administrateur et imprésario originaire d'Allemagne, Walter Homburger arrive au Canada en 1940 et fonde par la suite l'agence de concerts International Artists. Il présente en concert de nombreux artistes de renom tels que Vladimir Horowitz, Andrés Segovia, Joan Sutherland et Duke Ellington. Il devient aussi le premier gérant, entre autres canadiens, de Donald Bell, Glenn Gould et Louis Lortie. De 1962 à 1987, il occupe également le poste de directeur-gérant du Toronto Symphony Orchestra.
