Collection search - Dale and Ryckman families collection [graphic material, textual record]

The donor received the Dale, Ryckman, and Borris family material from two sisters (one of whom was Emmaline Dale) who were the daughters of Professor William Dale of the University of Toronto and his wife Frederica. Frederica (née Ryckman) was the sister of Edmond Baird Ryckman (1866-1934), minister of National Revenue (1930-1933) in the Bennett government, who represented east Toronto in the House of Commons from 1921 to 1934. Frederica and Edmond were the children of Edward Bradshaw Ryckman, a prominent Methodist minister who lived in turn in Huntingdon, Quebec (where Edmond was born), Cornwall, and Kingston, Ontario., The Robinson material was acquired from a variety of sources over a period of years., The Reverend Jasper Wilson and John W. Eedy families are related, and this material apparently has the same provenance.
