Subject depicts a body of water surrounded by a hills and rock. A wooden bridge is located in the foreground of the image and is set up to facilitate travel between the shore and an wooden architectural structure built above the water. A man is walking on the bridge. Along the shore line are several wooden structures, possibly boathouses, with small boats floating in the vicinity. Another architectural structure is built up on the hill in the background., Item is glued to a secondary support., Sir Charles Chichester was part of the 2nd battalion of the 60th regiment and served in America during 1821 - 1824. He returned to North America from 1838 - 1839 and returned again in 1843. Charles died in Canada.
