Subject depicts a number of tandem sleighs circling around a large open square.Church and other architecture in the background. Two sledges in lower margin are not participating in the parade, In the Sotheby's inventory, the cataloguer states that this drawing is very closely related to the Smillie etching after Wallace, and may be a 19th century copy., The Quebec Driving Club was published by D.Smillie and Sons in 1826.
