An unusual view of Niagara Falls, showing two of the falls. The viewer is almost at eye level with the top of the falls, looking sideways at the closest one. In the left foreground, at the edge of the picture, there is an embankment which could be a look out point or the porch of a house. There are two males standing on it, one of whom is looking out at the farthest falls., In the background there are a few large houses visible., George Seton was a British Officer active in North America from April 14th, 1844 to August 31st, 1848. It is apparent from other inscriptions that Seton frequently finished his sketches at a later date., The following works have similar secondary supports and may have been removed from the same album: 1953-75-3, -4, -5, -6, -7, -8, -10, -12, -13, and -14.
