ALS. The writer encloses two packets [SOCG 083, C 080] he received from the bp. of Québec [Plessis]. Since the bp. wants to have an agent in Rome to be appointed his vicar [general] and to act on his behalf with the Holy See, he asked the writer to suggest a suitable candidate. The writer suggests that, should the addressee not be able to send his answer via England or via any Italian port, he himself could take care of the matter. PF S. B: fol. 166r.
