This series concerns the activities of the Right Honourable Jean Chrétien in his capacity as Treasury Board President. It contains personal correspondence, invitations, requests addressed to the Treasury Board President, and records concerning certain of his trips. It also contains information on the Liberal Party of Canada's partisan and electoral activities in Quebec.

The series contains three (3) sub-series: Correspondence (DIF System); Office of the President of the Treasury Board Correspondence; and Subject Files.

Conservation:

The records of this series are in excellent general condition, and robust measures were taken to preserve them: all metal pieces were removed, newspaper clippings were removed and replaced with photocopies, records in a fragile state of preservation were also photocopied, etc. Lastly, records were removed from their original folders and placed in acid-free folders.

The records in the series are in french and english.
