Sub-series contains a collection of thirty-four photographs and one etching which were part of the retail stock of Bob Gordon's business, The Autograph Gallery. The photographs, which date from the 19th and the 20th century, include snap shots, cabinet cards, and portraits and photographs taken by commercial studios and professional photographers. A few of the photographs are dated. Some have signatures and inscriptions. Subjects include Canadian Prime Ministers, federal cabinet ministers, Fathers of Confederation, Speakers of the House Commons, Governors General of Canada, the wives of governors general, and Canadian celebrities. Included are photos of Sir Alexander Campbell, Lester B. Pearson, Hector Langevin, Brook Claxton, Martha Louise Black, William Lyon Mackenzie King, Vincent Massey, Byng of Vimy, Stanley of Preston, Alexander of Tunis, Sir Edmund Walker Head, Roland and Norah Mitchener. Pauline and George Etienne Vanier, HRH Princess Louise, and Maud, the Marchioness of Landsdown. Also included is a photograph taken sometime in the late 1920s or early 1930s of the drawing room at Laurier House, Ottawa, during the residency of William Lyon Mackenzie King. The etching in this sub-series is a 19th century portrait of Sir John A. Macdonald.
