Sub-series consists of sound recordings and textual records relating to feature-length documentaries and investigative series produced by senior CBC documentary producer, Bob Carty, on behalf of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation for the programmes SUNDAY MORNING, THIS MORNING, CBC RADIO NEWS, THE CURRENT and THE SUNDAY EDITION, featured on CBC Radio One. Sound recordings consist of oral history interviews, pre-mix sound elements, sound effects and script readings of over sixty CBC radio documentaries produced between 1991 and 2003 on a variety of subjects, from nursing in Canada to the privatization of water in third world countries. Also included are recorded copies of the finished documentary reports, investigative series' and talk-tape air checks. The textual records consist of research and production files that complement the sound recordings. Included are partial and rough transcripts of oral history interviews; and radio scripts of documentaries or series at various stages of completion and various stages in the life cycle of the production.
