The album, an "illuminated address," was presented to Dr. Thomas Gibson by his Ottawa patients in 1924. "The illustrated address which was beautifully bound in blue sealed leather was rendered still more valuable by the autographs of those present," honoring Gibson's 29 years of service as a physician in Ottawa. One of the signatories was George Rousfield. Two news clippings describing the commemorative event (from the Ottawa Journal and The Citizen, Ottawa) are included. Included aslo are: a Christmas card and inscribed poem by W. Wilfred Campbell "issued for the new year, 1904," called "The lyre degenerate," and a reprint of Gibson's article "Doctor Theodore Turquet De Mayerne's account of the illness, death and post-mortem examination of the body of his royal highness, Prince Henry of Wales," published by the Annals of Medical Histor, New Series, vol. 10, no. 6 (1938), New York, NY and Kingston, Ontario.
