This sub-sub-series consists of questionnaires, statistical reports and, to a lesser degree, correspondence.

The records in this sub-sub-series provide an overview of all correspondence addressed to Prime Minister Chrétien and managed by the Correspondence Unit of the Office of the Prime Minister: number, type of correspondence (i.e. general, special messages, personal, priority, etc.), and topics addressed. The various statistical reports in the sub-sub-series thus shed light not only on an aspect of the management of the Prime Minister's correspondence, but on its content.

The topics addressed are: incoming and outgoing mail of the Correspondence Unit of the Office of the Prime Minister (quantitative data on the topics addressed); and an opinion poll of correspondents, to determine satisfaction levels with the management of correspondence between Canadian citizens and the Prime Minister.

The archivist classified the sub-sub-series. First it contains a file with general data on correspondence, followed by a file with more specific data on the Unit's outgoing correspondence, followed by files of monthly statistical reports in chronological order. The last file of the sub-sub-series contains documents for a survey on the management of the Prime Minister's correspondence.
