The series contains documents produced and used by Mr. Robert B. Bryce for his work and research activities. They include a voluminous correspondence with colleagues and friends, handwritten texts, memos, reports for committees, conferences or publications. It also includes files about his professor at Cambridge University, Mr. John Maynard Keynes, the most important English economist of the beginning of the XXth century who revolutionized economics with the book he wrote on "The General Theory of Employment Interest and Money". There are original letters written by Keynes to R.B. Bryce about his school work in vol. 17 and 18. Files 7 to 9 in vol. 18 contain Bryce's Cambridge University lecture notes from Keynes' classes which have been edited by Thomas Kenneth Rymes in 1989, London, Macmillan.
