This sub-series contains interview transcripts, speeches, travel itineraries and the agendas of Roméo LeBlanc mainly for the period from 1974-1984. The transcript files contain a number of interviews with the CBC, CTV, and several radio stations such as, CKNW and CKDH in Amherst, Nova Scotia and include appearances on news and radio shows such as "As it Happens," "The Sunday National," "The Watson Report," and "Talkback." Most of the interviews deal with Mr. LeBlanc's responsibilities as Minster of Fisheries and Environment / Fisheries and Oceans. However, there are also a number of interviews regarding other budgetary and political matters including an interview with Mr. LeBlanc regarding Prime Minister Trudeau's resignation.

The files on speeches cover numerous ceremonial and commemoratif occasions such as the official opening of the Supply and Services building in Shediac, New Brunswick in 1980 and the launch of a stamp commemorating the Acadians in 1981. There are also speeches that were given at political and social meetings such as a speech given at the New Brunswick Liberal Leadership Convention in 1982 and remarks made at a reunion of the Société Acadienne du Nouveau Brunswick in 1983. The travel files consist largely of itineraries and briefing notes that outline Mr. LeBlanc's activities while on a number of ministerial trips. Most of the trips deal with matters relating to Mr. LeBlanc's responsibilities as Minister of Fisheries and Minister of Public Works with responsibilities for Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation and cover the period from 1980-1984. The agendas consist of date books with Mr. LeBlancs appointments and meetings for the period between 1975-1985.

The sub-series consists largely of correspondence between the minister's staff but there are also a number of handwritten notes by Mr. LeBlanc. Most of the files contain speeches, speech notes, itineraries, briefing notes, some newspaper clippings, agendas and some correspondence. The sub-series also contains several phone and address listings with the names and phone numbers of Mr. LeBlanc's friends, acquaintances and colleagues.
