The series comprises the project files kept by Patricia Fleming, the Project Director, at the University of Toronto. Fleming, Patricia L., 1939- : Patricia Lockhart Fleming, a professor at the Faculty of Information Studies (FIS) at the University of Toronto, was the founding director of the Collaborative Program in Book History at University of Toronto, and the principal investigator, project director, co-general editor, and editor of Volumes I and II of the History of the Book in Canada. She maintained the project head office at FIS from 2000 to 2006.
