Collection consists of two stampless folded letters. One is from Québec during the French regime. The other one was sent to a British officer after the fall of Fort Niagara (now in New York state) in 1759.

Greene, Vincent Graves, 1893-1988 : Vincent Graves Greene was born in 1893. In 1925 he started to specialize himself with the stamps of Canada and the provinces. Between 1942 and 1969, he wrote seven articles and published the book "The Postal History of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, 1754-1867" with C.M. Jephcott and J.H.M. Young in 1964. In 1951, he was chairman of the Canadian Philatelic Exhibition (CAPEX) in Toronto which was the first international philatelic exhibition held in Canada. He assumed the same position again in 1978 and 1987. In 1963, Greene signed the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists and received the Lichtenstein Medal in 1964. In 1975, he founded the Vincent Graves Greene Philatelic Research Foundation in Toronto. A fellow of both the Royal Philatelic Society in London and the Royal Canadian Philatelic Society, Greene was considered the dean of Canadian philately. He died in 1988.
