This sub-sub-series consists of reference materials of use to Prime Minister Chrétien's Chief of Staff, Jean Pelletier, in the context of the 1993, 1997 and 2000 electoral campaigns. It contains the following: election platforms, bills and legal texts, texts and reports on various federal programs, statistics, surveys, promotional material, media monitoring reports, press reviews, etc. To a lesser degree, it also contains memos, briefing notes, itineraries, invitations, speeches, news releases, working papers and correspondence.

These files provide a partial record of the activities of Jean Pelletier, Jean Chrétien's Chief of Staff, in the context of the 1993, 1997 and 2000 electoral campaigns. Among other things, they contain a series of surveys, investigations and reports that seek to determine the voting intentions of the Canadian public and the issues on which to focus, as well as electoral strategies and speeches in keeping with the results.
