Series also consists of maps produced by Ernest Thompson Seton and others during an expedition to the Northwest Territories in 1907; this expedition was recounted by Seton in his 1911 book, "The Arctic Prairies: A Canoe Journey of 2,000 Miles in Search of Caribou".
