Cette collection contient neuf dessins structuraux d'une raffinerie de nickel, "Smelter Converter Plant". Ils ont été réalisés au cours de l'année 1929 par la Dominion Bridge Company de Lachine (Québec) pour le compte de l'International Nickel Company of Canada à son usine de Copper Cliff, en Ontario. En 1928-1929, en effet, l'INCO a effectué une importante expansion de son usine de Copper Cliff.
