Series consists of maps and atlases pertaining primarily to Canada. Included are general maps of Canada, index maps to the National Topographic Canadian Series, National Topographic Series maps at various scales, geological maps of Quebec and various National Geographic Society maps. Also included are two atlases entitled "Atlas of the city of Three Rivers and county of St. Maurice" (1879) and "The world wide atlas of modern geography" (1913) as well as a text book on cartography entitled "Map reading and panorama sketching, by an instructor" (1916).

Maps were either integrated in the National map collection or into the National Topographic Maps series
