Series consists of oral history interviews of former Eldorado Company employees such as prospectors, pilots, metallurgists and managers, who describe the early years of uranium mining and exploration at Port Radium, Northwest Territories, and Beaverlodge, Saskatchewan, as well as uranium refining at Port Hope, Ontario, from the early 1930s to the 1950s. The interviews were conducted by Jane Mingay, who was hired by Eldorado Nuclear Ltd. from late 1976 to the fall of 1978 to conduct the oral history project.
